No, the Lowe's credit card does not offer rewards. They do not have a customer loyalty program. Lowe's used to offer a Visa card, but it was discontinued. You may still see the Lowe's Visa but that is strictly in regards to servicing of old accounts. They are no longer taking applications for that card. The current Lowe's credit card offers a 5% discount on what they call "everyday" things. But this is a one-time only discount, this is not an ongoing offer. You must spend at least $299 on a single receipt and there are some exceptions. Keep in mind you should pay your bill right away, especially if you are using the 5% discount to save money, because at a rate of 24.99% the interest can rack up fast.
If you want to earn rewards on your purchases you should apply for general rewards credit cards. For example, it can be the Discover it card. This card gives you up to 5% cash back on your purchases in rotating categories (note that you need to register in order to be eligible for getting the bonus). There is no annual fee and you will be able to take advantage of 0% intro APR on purchases. Note that when the introductory interest rate is over, the ongoing APR will apply.
