The RoomPlace credit card gives cardholders advanced notice of special offers and access to preferred customer offers. They're pretty secretive about what those offers may be, or how much they might save cardholders. Unlike most store credit cards, the Room Place card does not come with a first-purchase discount or a rewards program.

The biggest benefit of having the RoomPlace credit card is the special financing offers and convenient payment plans it offers to customers. The details of those perks are dependent on your creditworthiness, so be sure to check with the issuing bank before applying. You may very well be better off with a general credit card. And if you go with a general rewards credit card instead, you can earn points that you can redeem for gift cards, cash back and more.
