I am new to credit and I was interested in establishing my credit profile. The major problem is that I am still not sure what credit card will be a good one to start with. I plan on popping the question within the next few months so I need to buy a ring. Do you think the Gordon’s credit card is a good card for me to start with?

When it comes to finding a credit card to use to establish your credit profile with, remember that this is a serious process and should not be taken lightly. Your credit score will make a bold statement about who you are as a person in the future. Missed or late payments would reflect very negatively on your credit score. In addition, you want to ensure that the card you are applying for is reporting your credit activity to major credit bureaus. This card is issued through Citibank^®, so credit activity will be reported. But what I recommend is rather than financing that ring, find a general credit card to build your credit report, spend it responsibly and save up your money so you can buy that ring.
