The standard balance transfer fee is 3% of the amount transferred. The longest introductory period you can get with that balance transfer fee is 18 months. For example, the Discover it Balance Transfer and Citi Double Cash will give you 18 months of 0% intro APR on balance transfers. Both cards are rewards credit cards, but please note that balance transfers do not earn rewards. So if you want to earn rewards on your balance transfer, you won’t be able to do it.
